Bill filed to seek SK centers all over Bukidnon
A bill has been filed in the Lower House and it seeks to establish Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) centers all over the Province of Bukidnon.
Bukidnon 3rd District Congressman Manuel “Manoy” Zubiri filed House Bill 8032 and it underscores the youth’s role in nation-building.
HB 8032 emphasizes the need to promote and protect the youth’s physical, moral, spiritual, intellectual and social well-being. Through the various SK centers, the youth’s activities can also be conducted within conducive environments.
Under Zubiri’s bill, SK centers will be established in Baungon, Cabanglasan, Damulog, Dangcagan, Don Carlos, Impasug-ong, Kadingilan, Kalilangan, Kibawe, Kitaotao, Lantapan, Libona, Malitbog, Manolo Fortich, Maramag, Pangantucan, Quezon, San Fernando, Sumilao, Talakag and at the cities of Malaybalay and Valencia.
The SK centers will also serve as the offices of the SK.
