I bet they are. Following Bukidnon Gov. Jose Ma. Zubiri‘s recent defection from LAKAS CMD KAMPI to Nacionalista Party, rumors are ripe that the voters here in Bukidnon are now confused as to whom they should support. Sources claim that Zubiri’s supporters are now having second thoughts on whether or not they should still follow Zubiri’s command and lend support to NP presidential candidate Sen. Manny Villar and the rest of the Nacionalista Party.

Sources from the third district of Bukidnon told Bukidnon Online that while majority of the people in the 3rd district may extend support to Villar, NP’s standard bearer may still have difficulty winning the hearts of those in the first and second district.

“The first district of Bukidnon may see a fight between Sen. Noynoy Aquino and Gibo Teodoro,” the source insisted. Aquino is Liberal Party’s standard bearer while Teodoro is LAKAS CMD KAMPI’s presidential candidate.

Well placed sources from the second district, meanwhile, insisted that Valencia City will strongly support Villar. Malaybalay City, however, may see an Aquino versus Teodoro fight as well.

Nacionalista Party mayoralty bet for Malaybalay City Provo Antipasado, Jr. told Bukidnon Online that Zubiri endorsed Villar and his presidential candidacy alone and not the entire NP.

“We as NP were proclaimed that same afternoon Zubiri endorsed Villar. We were proclaimed in Manolo Fortich,” Antipasado stressed.
