Araw ng Sumilao 2009 official schedule of activities

SUMILAO, BUKIDNON – The 53rd Anlaw Ta Sumilao Celebration is underway! With the theme “Moving Forward For Prosperity,” the weeklong Araw ng Sumilao 2009 celebration aims to gather residents from all ten barangays namely Kisolon, Kulasi, Licoan, Lupiagan, Occasion, Poblacion, Puntian, San Roque, San Vicente and Vista Villa and provide them with the platform to celebrate the 53rd Charter Day of the Municipality of Sumilao.

June 30, 2009

– 5 am Pangampo (Poblacion) Poblacion
– 2 pm Thanksgiving Mass Sumbalan Hall
and mass wedding
– 7 pm Search for Miss Sumilao 2009 Municipal Gym

July 1, 2009

– 6 am Marathon San Vicente, Kisolon
– 7 am Parade (from Market to Fortich Park)
– 8 am Opening Program Don Carlos Fortich Park
– 10 am Field Demonstration Don Carlos Fortich Park
– 1 pm Basketball Clinic
Basketball Championship
Basketball Exhibition Municipal Gym


July 2, 2009

– 7 am Rodeo Motorcade, Opening Program KCES Grounds
– 7 am Rodeo Competition
– 7 pm Rodeo Night Municipal Gym
– 7 pm Grand Disco Barangay Covered Court

July 3

– 7 am Rodeo Competition (continuation)

– 4 pm Acrobat Show Municipal Gym

– 7 pm “SAN MIG ROCK ‘N REGGAE” Live Band Concert featuring a CDO band and Native In Town (presented by SAN MIGUEL BEER and SAN MIGUEL FOODS with the cooperation of the Municipal Government of Sumilao and ASTERISK Events and Communications)

July 4, 2009
