BUKIDNON NEWS – The Municipality of Maramag, Bukidnon is currently celebrating the Festival of Springs or “Kahalawan Te Seb Seb.”

The Kahalawan Te Seb Seb celebration or the Festival of Springs is celebrated in line with the Araw ng Maramag. This Maramag festival is celebrated every July 1.

This year, the Municipality of Maramag is celebrating its 56th Founding Anniversary.

A first class municipality in the Province of Bukidnon, Maramag is envisioned to be a new tourism highway in Northern Mindanao. The term “Maramag” comes from “Ag Ramag,” a contracted Manobo term for “Ag Ramag Kini Dini.” The said Manobo term means “Let us eat our breakfast here.”

One of those who sent their well wishes for Maramag was Senator Chiz Escudero.
