Senator TG Guingona confirms death of nephew, releases statement
BUKIDNON | BUKIDNON NEWS – Senator Teofisto “TG” Guingona III has confirmed the death of his nephew Martin Guingona Lamb.
The nephew of Senator TG Guingona and grandson of former Philippine Vice President Teofisto Guingona died earlier today after he jumped from the 31st floor of Vivere Hotel in Ayala Alabang, Muntinlupa.

Martin Guingona Lamb was the son of former Vice President Teofisto Guingona’s daughter Marie. He was a student of the De La Salle University – Manila. The victim was only 20 years old.
The following is the official statement obtained by BukidnonOnline.com from the Office of Senator TG Guingona on the death of his nephew Mark Guingona Lamb:
Our family is in deep sorrow following the untimely passing away of my nephew, Mark Guingona, early this morning.
I was informed that his death may have been brought about by personal concerns. We understand that Mark is young and may have been unable to bear burden of such concerns. The intensity of his pain is known only to him.
In times like these, our family hopes that we can, mourn, go through and process the pain of this tragic experience in private. We also hope that Mark would be allowed his own privacy in his last moments.
We are grateful for the outpouring of sympathy and moral support from friends.
