BUKIDNON NEWS | BUKIDNON UPDATES | LANTAPAN | POLITICS – The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) has reportedly proclaimed Godofredo Balansag as the duly elected mayor of the Municipality of Lantapan, Bukidnon. According to reports, COMELEC Lantapan Municipal Election Officer Bernaldo Canoy has issued a certification proving that Balansag won over his opponent, Narciso Rubio.

The certification reportedly states that Balansag got 434 votes while Rubio only managed to get 142 votes in contested clustered precinct number 36 in Barangay Kilasihan.
