The much-awaited Kaamulan Festival 2010 is set to open today, February 18, 2010. The yearly Kaamulan Festival, a major attraction in the Province of Bukidnon and is the only authentic ethnic festival in the Philippines according to Tourism Secretary Ace Durano, is the gathering of Bukidnon’s 7 hill tribes.

Soft opening of the said Bukidnon festival will happen today in Malaybalay City, the capital of Bukidnon. The Kaamulan Garden Show, Food Festival, Bazaar, Agri Fair and Livestock show will open today at the Capitol Grounds.

Later in the evening, a band will provide entertainment at the Capitol Stage.

This year’s Kaamulan Festival is brought to us by the Provincial Government of Bukidnon, SMART Communications, San Miguel Beer and Coca Cola.
