Did the Acostas ask that Gov. Zubiri be banned from Liberal Party? (Acosta video inside)
BUKIDNON NEWS | BUKIDNON ONLINE | BUKIDNON POLITICS – Is it true that former Bukidnon First District Congressman JR Nereus “Neric” Acosta asked his fellow Liberal Partymates to ban incumbent Bukidnon Gov. Jose Ma. Zubiri, Jr. from joining LP?
A well-placed source tipped Bukidnon Online that Acosta released a manifesto asking the Liberal Party not to allow Zubiri to join the party.
The source claimed that no one signed the manifesto. Bukidnon Online has yet to get a copy of the said manifesto. Bukidnon Online will also get Acosta’s side as soon as possible.
Recently, Zubiri led a survey cum mock polls among Bukidnon city and municipal mayors, vice mayors, councilors and barangay captains and the declared “winners” were Liberal Party bets Noynoy Aquino and Mar Roxas. The survey was done during three caucuses held at the BRCI compound in Manolo Fortich on November 3, at the Kaamulan Open Theater on November 4 and at the municipal gymnasium in Maramag on November 5. Because of the “results,” Zubiri is reportedly shifting allegiance to Liberal Party.
Zubiri supported LAKAS-CMD-KAMPI in the last elections.
