Php 20 Million worth of shabu intercepted in Bukidnon
This report about authorities successfully intercepting the transport of allegedly more than 2 kilos of suspected shabu worth Php 20 million means authorities aren’t sleeping on the job (thank goodness!)
Just this Tuesday, authorities seized the illegal drugs from four men riding what apparently was also a stolen car in Barangay Impalutao, Impasug-ong, Bukidnon.
Authorities also got a .45 caliber pistol, ammunition, Php 1,450 cash, a tablet and a cellphone from suspects Nahar Apam, Sohud Salik, Tho Tha, and Johari Akmad. The 4 suspects were allegedly all from Maguindanao.
According to reports, the suspects were aboard a gray Toyota Corolla sedan with plate number UCO-308. The car was apparently rented but was not returned on time so the owner reported it to the police.
Thanks to a built-in Global Positioning System (GPS), the vehicle was tracked down.
No confirmation yet whether or not the suspects are also the same ones who leased the car. The 4 will face charges of carnapping, illegal possession of firearms and ammunition as well as violations against the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Thumbs up to the Highway Patrol Group and all other operatives involved in the interception!
