Zubiri bares senatorial picks
BUKIDNON NEWS | POLITICS – Incumbent Bukidnon Gov. Jose Ma. Zubiri, Jr., who’s now gunning for a vice gubernatorial seat, recently bared his senatorial slate picks. The question now, though, is will the people of Bukidnon still listen to him and vote for his senatorial bets?
What do you guys think?
Here are Zubiri’s picks for senator: Atty. Adel Tamano (#54), Gilbert Remulla, Bong Revilla, Pia Cayetano, Miriam Santiago, Juan Ponce Enrile, Jinggoy Estrada, Lito Lapid, Bongbong Marcos, Satur Ocampo, Serge Osmena III and Ralph Recto.
As you may notice, Zubiri’s choices comprise of a “chopsuey” group – meaning bets come from various political parties.
Zubiri recently endorsed the candidacy of Nacionalista Party standard bearer Sen. Manny Villar. He also expressed his intent to quit the LAKAS CMD party.
It is still unclear if Zubiri has truly resigned from the said party and if the party accepted his resignation, if any.
