Visiting Valencia City, Bukidnon? Here’s a tourist spot you may want to visit: Lake Apo, a crater lake in Barangay Guinoyoran, Valencia City, Bukidnon.
Fast fact: The name of Lake Apo comes from the Bisaya term apo, meaning elder or grandparent.
There’s a cafe by the lake and if you enter via the cafe, fee is Php 300 (the Php 200 is consumable). If you’re bringing a vehicle and you also intend to visit the cafe, you can avail of parking. If you don’t intend to visit the cafe, entrance is Php 100. There are paid parking slots before the lake entrance, which are run by neighboring locals.

How to get to Lake Apo:
You can plot on Waze or Google Maps the location if you’re bringing a private vehicle. If you intend to commute, you can either ride a habal-habal from the city center or bao bao or a multicab (pakyaw system). There are no buses or jeepneys heading to Lake Apo as of this writing.
