Valencia Bukidnon boxer wins SEA Games gold medals
A boxer from Valencia City, Bukidnon has taken the Southeast Asian boxing world by storm. Bantamweight Mario Fernandez won his second consecutive SEA Games 2015 gold medal after he knocked out Tanes Ongjunta of Thailand. Fernandez knocked Ongjunta out at 2:15 of the third round.
Mario Fernandez is now touted as “Super Mario.”
The SEA Games 2015 is currently being held in Singapore.
