Malaybalay restaurant – Ranchers Steak House Bukidnon
BUKIDNON | MALAYBALAY CITY – Here’s something new in Malaybalay City – Ranchers Steak House. A restaurant in a ranch setting and at a slightly elevated area – it’s a Malaybalay restaurant with a view! Great escape for lazy weekends, special occasions and lovely, quiet dinners with your special someone.
Located along Diversion Road, the rodeo-themed Ranchers Steak House Malaybalay serves mostly Western cuisine. Very limited menu choices, though. They have pasta, salads, appetizers, snacks and of course, steaks. If you want to try their steaks, be ready to shell out at least Php 700 for the lowest priced one. My friends and I tried the tenderloin steak. It tasted okay. Remember to tell them how you want your steak done, though – that is, if you want it rare, medium rare or well done.
We also had the garden salad and sisig (this was good!) at this Malaybalay steakhouse. On a separate visit with cousins and a friend, we tried the spaghetti (this was part of the kiddie meals section), buffalo wings (recommended) and calamares fritos (recommended as well). A decent meal for 4 persons (no steaks) would most probably reach Php 900. Ranchers Steakhouse Malaybalay Bukidnon also provides complimentary deep fried camote chips.
You can also go horseback riding here for Php 100 per hour.
How to go to Ranchers Steak House Malaybalay:
No public transportation vehicles pass through the Diversion Road so you need to either bring a private vehicle or rent a multicab. On one of our visits, we rented a multicab for Php 150 (round trip arrangement). You can access the Diversion Road either from Sumpong (junction near the Department of Education office) or through NHA Impalambong. If you’re taking the Sumpong route, Ranchers Steakhouse is before a bridge.
Disclaimer: Bukidnon Online was NOT paid to write about this establishment. We paid for our own meals and transportation.
