The Home Development Mutual Fund (HDMF) or PAG-IBIG Fund is set to sponsor a grand mass wedding rite dubbed “Pag-IBIG Day (Love Day) Libreng Kasal” on February 12, 2015 at the Freedom Park in Malaybalay City.

The Pag-IBIG Fund Malaybalay Branch Head said that the free mass wedding is for new couple applicants; those who want to renew marriage vows; and for unwed couples living together with no legal civil union. The couples are required to become PAG-IBIG members first, though. They can do this by paying Php 100.00 as membership fee. The said amount will be the start of the couple’s monthly remittance.

Malaybalay Mayor Ignacio Zubiri will officiate the wedding.

During the event, the couples will also be provided their first meal as husband and wife, bouquet of flowers, symbolic wedding rin  and a wedding gift. (with a report from PIA Bukidnon)
