P15M cheque for Malaybalay Bukidnon IP housing project released
A cheque worth Php 15 million, which serves as the first tranche for the Daraghuyan Tribal Housing Project in Brgy. Dalwangan, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon, was released on June 9, 2021.
The Daraghuyan-Bukidnon community, led by tribal chieftain Bae Inatlawan – Adelina D. Tarino, was delighted to receive the grant in a ceremony held at the People’s Hall of the City Hall in Brgy. Casisang.
The City Government of Malaybalay, under the leadership of Mayor Florencio T. Flores, Jr., in coordination with the National Housing Authority (NHA) represented by Regional Manager Rolando I. Teves, Jr. along with District Manager Engr. Madeleine Gilda S. Abellera turned over the cheque.
Being tagged as the first-ever recipient of an IP-designed housing village, Bae Inatlawan expressed her thanks to Mayor Flores and NHA. She said, “It is a dream comes true for the tribe.”
The said tribe is the first ever recipient of an IP-designed housing village.
