Good news: Diskwento Caravan in Malaybalay City
Here’s something nice to check out during the upcoming Malaybalay City fiesta.
A “Diskwento Caravan” will be held on May 14 and 15, 2012 at the Freedom Park (City Covered Court), Barangay 4, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.
The Bukidnon diskwento caravan, a project spearheaded by the Department of Trade and Industry, aims to provide consumers with cheaper consumer products such as medicines, rice, sugar, cooking oil, fresh vegetables and dairy produce, processed foods like canned goods, hotdog, fruit preserves, chips and pastries. Other products include school supplies, bags, home decors, and laundry soap and bath items.
A great chance for you to do your mini grocery chores, folks!
According to a press release from DTI Bukidnon, there will also be services such as massage and reflexology.
These services will also be offered to the public during the Malaybalay Diskwento Caravan at only P50.00 by TESDA NC2 certified masseurs.
Apart from the Department of Trade and Industry, the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (PTWPB), TESDA, LGU of Malaybalay City, the Malaybalay City Price Coordinating Council, and the Malaybalay City Federation of Rural Improvement Club, Inc. are also involved in this project.
