Free vaccination, deworming of farm animals on January 27-28, 2011
MALAYBALAY CITY | BUKIDNON NEWS – Public announcement! There will be a free vaccination and free deworming of farm animals on January 27 to 28, 2011 at Barangay San Jose, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon. This public service event is led by the Malaybalay City Veterinary Office.
This is definitely good news for Bukidnon farmers who need to protect their livestock from diseases such as hog cholera and hemorrhagic septicemia. The veterinary office will accommodate farmers who have cattle, horses, carabaos, goats, pigs etc.
Meanwhile, Bukidnon Online learned that Malaybalay City Mayor Ignacio Zubiri ordered the inclusion of microbial fertilizer in the financial subsidy to back up the rice seeds assistance project for the local rice farmers. Instead of the original P240.00 price tag per microbial fertilizer bag, the price will now be P120.00. The Malaybalay City government paid half of the cost. Take note, though, that this offer is only good for duly listed Malaybalay rice farmers.
