Free photography workshop in Malaybalay City on January 30, 2010
MALAYBALAY CITY NEWS | PHOTOGRAPHY | PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP | BUKIDNON NEWS – A free photography workshop will be held on January 30, 2010, 8:30 AM at a local restaurant in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.
The photography workshop will be conducted at Mama Lo’s along Fortich Street by no less than ace photographer Rem Zamora. A Manila-based photographer, Zamora currently works as a photojournalist for the Philippine Daily Inquirer. Zamora was also a recipient of an Asian photography award.
This free photography workshop for a cause will be for the benefit of the kids of New Faith Family Children’s Home located at Pal-ing, Patpat, Malaybalay City.
No fees will be collected.
Participants, however, would need to contribute their photos and pay for the printing of at least 3 pieces of 8R photos. This will be around P120.00 only. Organizers will take care of the framing of the photos.
The photos will also be sold and all proceeds will go to the said orphanage. Organizers aim to use the amount that will be raised for the schooling of the kids.
Best photos will be placed on exhibit at a local coffee shop in Malaybalay City for the whole month of February.
While owners of DSLR cameras are highly encouraged to join this free photography workshop, owners of point and shoot cameras are also warmly invited to attend.
