First time Bukidnon congressman attends SONA
Bukidnon Second District Congressman Atty. Jonathan Keith “John” Flores attended the State of the Nation Address (SONA) today, July 22, 2019 at the House of Representatives in Quezon City. Flores is the son of former Rep. and now comebacking Malaybalay City Mayor Florencio “Doc Boy” Flores, Jr.
The younger Flores, who served as a legal and political officer during his father’s stint in Congress, attended President Rodrigo Duterte’s SONA with his wife Fiscal Mae and daughter Denise. His other daughter Gaby is currently overseas.
On his official Facebook page, Atty. John Flores wrote:
Looking forward to listening to the State of the Nation Address (SONA) today. I am enjoining everyone to watch or listen as the President shares all the developments and plans of his administration.
Today also formally marks the start of my congressional duties and I am eager to pull up my sleeves and work on various legislation.
Thank you to my wife Mae and daughter Denise for joining me today.
Bukidnon Online learned that Atty. John Flores, famously known for wearing simple and practical clothes as well as worn out sneakers during the electoral campaign, bought his Barong Tagalog off the rack.
