Doy Beltran for Barangay Sumpong Malaybalay
There are barangay candidates and then there are barangay candidates whom I can personally vouch for and whom I know have real good, sincere intentions. One of them is my long-time friend, Doy Beltran.
I’m trying my best to remember how we met. I think we met years ago during one of those local events I used to organize back in the day. That was a darn long time ago. I have to say, though, that even if our fateful meeting seems to be a blur right now, our friendship is crystal clear.
My friend Doy Beltran is running for Barangay Kagawad in Sumpong, Malaybalay City. I am throwing my support for him. I hope you do, too. Let me tell you why.
A few fast facts about Doy Beltran. He’s a grandson of former Bukidnon Governor Nemitz Beltran and the eldest child of Bukidnon 2nd District Board Member Jun Beltran. Graduate of BS Public Administration Major in Local Governance. Family man. Currently a small business owner. He runs videoke place called Enrico’s and through his small business, he pays taxes and hires several locals.
His is a story of hard work and determination. Despite having rich, connected relatives, Doy Beltran strived on his own. And I can attest to this. He started as a waiter and kitchen staff at a pizza chain, then job order as driver and then later on as encoder at a government office. Being a married man with a growing family, he decided to go back to school. When he finished that, he sold BBQ and then later on borrowed money so he can open his small business.
But you might be wondering — what can someone like him do for the betterment of Barangay Sumpong?
He can perform check and balance. Because he sticks to his principles and he voices out his opinions, he can be your voice during barangay sessions. Because he knows the travails of being a small businessman, he can help look for ways in order to support entrepreneurship. Because he has relatives who have had decades of political experience, he’s guided with rich knowledge.
Vote for Doy Beltran, Kagawad, Barangay Sumpong, Malaybalay City. Thanks for voting for him. Thanks for believing.
