CIDG raids alleged investment scam group in Bukidnon JA Mining Ventures
The offices in Bukidnon of an alleged investment scam group were raided by operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Regional Field Unit 10.
The said authorities raided the Malaybalay City, Valencia City and Maramag, Bukidnon offices of JA Mining Ventures.
JA Mining Ventures reportedly promises returns of investment (ROI) of at least 50 up to 100 percent, similar to many other investment schemes that have been ordered closed by President Rodrigo Duterte.
CIDG Deputy Chief Major Nap Carpio said that JA Mining Ventures promises interest payouts after 30 days.
The raids resulted in the confiscation of Php 612,903.00 cash, computers, cellphones, investment forms and other paraphernalia.
Five were also arrested in line with the raids namely Emeliana Fernandez, Enie Oliquino, John Lister Pacunayen, Ojelyn Busbos, and Merlyn Perez.
