Central Mindanao University offers free rides following bus bombing incident

Central Mindanao University (CMU) has offered free bus rides to students, following the recent bus bombing incident that killed 10 people and injured 42.

Facebook user Ace Sacayle shared that CMU has offered a “No ID, No Free Ride” policy. “I don’t know how long this will be free but it’s a good way to make the students (feel) safe,” Sacayle said, adding that he believes students may be willing to pay the fare once the rides won’t be offered for free anymore.

A day after the bus bombing, a prayer rally was also held at the Central Mindanao University campus.
