BUKIDNON NEWS – The husband of the vice mayor of Cabanglasan, Bukidnon was wounded in an ambush on the morning of Saturday, August 15, 2015.

Lemuel Obsioma, husband of Cabanglasan Vice Mayor Lolita Obsioma, was driving a dump truck towards a quarry site in Barangay Mandahican when he was ambushed by 4 armed men at Barangay Iba. He was hit on the neck.

Porferio Sabejon, the father of one of the vice mayor’s staff members, died during the ambush. Sabejon hitched a ride to go and attend a fiesta. Authorities are currently investigating the incident.

This development comes after the recent signing of a “sister LGU” agreement between Bal’ad, Somalia, Africa and Cabanglasan, Bukidnon. (with report from Politiko.com.ph)
