Bukidnon trade and industry agency to destroy substandard products
MALAYBALAY CITY NEWS | BUKIDNON ONLINE | BUKIDNON NEWS – Got a media advisory from the local arm of the Department of Trade and Industry. They say they are set to destroy the alleged substandard products they recently seized during their market visits.
Here’s the text of the media advisory from DTI Bukidnon:
As part of our continuing effort to provide protection to consumers, our office was able to seize sub-standard products (miniature decorative Christmas lights) during our recent market monitoring and enforcement. To heighten the awareness of our consumers of their right to be protected from the proliferation of substandard products, we are holding in public the destruction of these violative products.
We would like to invite you to witness the activity on December 13, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. at the DTI Provincial Office.
