Bukidnon radio commentator Joas Dignos killed

BUKIDNON | BUKIDNON NEWS – Bukidnon radio commentator Joas Dignos was reportedly killed by two unidentified men riding on a motorcycle roughly 9 PM tonight, November 29, 2013 in front of CAP Building, Sayre Highway, Valencia City, Bukidnon. He died on the spot.

Dignos, known for his hard-hitting commentaries via his program “Bombardeo,” is a radio commentator at DXGT Radyo Abante 92.1 FM, a radio station owned by re-elected provincial board member Gordon Torres.

Last June 26, 2013, a grenade was reportedly thrown at DXGT as the said radio station was airing a pre-recorded Dignos commentary.

UPDATES: A case of murder has been filed against Dionisio Daulong and several John Does before the Office of the Valencia City Prosecutor with IS # X-13-Inv-13L-00285 last December 3, 2013.

A prayer rally was also held last December 8, 2013. The rally aimed to seek justice for Dignos’ slain.
