Audrey Tan Zubiri, wife of Senator Migz Zubiri, files candidacy for Bukidnon 3rd District Congresswoman
Audrey Tan Zubiri, who has gained recognition as a model, entrepreneur, former VJ and newspaper columnist, officially filed her candidacy as Bukidnon 3rd District Congresswoman. She is married to former Senate President Juan Miguel “Migz” Zubiri and a proud mother of 3 children – Adriana, Juan Miguel (JuanMi) and Santiago (Santi).
Accompanied by her husband, the “Mama Diaries” newspaper columnist and notable personality in both lifestyle and political circles in the Philippines filed her candidacy at the Bukidnon Commission on Elections office last October 1, 2024, the first day of filing.
“Today marks the beginning of an incredible journey as I officially file my candidacy for Representative of the 3rd District of Bukidnon as part of my advocacy to uplift women by creating opportunities for self-empowerment through livelihood programs, as I have been doing with the women of southern Bukidnon, champion education and increase capability through scholarships and livelihood skills training programs for a brighter future, while continuing to focus on our agricultural needs,” she said.
The Bukidnon 3rd District is composed of the Municipalities of Damulog, Dangcagan, Don Carlos, Kadingilan, Kibawe, Kitaotao, Maramag and Quezon.
The current Bukidnon 3rd District representative is Audrey’s father-in-law, Jose Maria “Nonoy Joe” Zubiri, Jr.
