7 year old Malaybalay boy shoots playmate dead
Pretty unfortunate news. A 7 year old boy reportedly accidentally shot and killed his 9 year old playmate in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.
According to the Inquirer, the accidental shooting happened last Saturday, July 18, 2015.
The victim, who sustained a wound on the head due to the firing of a homemade shotgun or “sumpak,” was rushed to Bethel Baptist Hospital but died while being treated.
According to a police report, the unnamed 7 year old boy was brought to the police station and later turned him over to the Malaybalay City Social Welfare and Development Office.
