403rd Brigade busts NPA hideouts in Bukidnon
The 403rd Brigade of the Philippine Army has reportedly busted 2 major hideouts of the New People’s Army (NPA), the winged arm of the Communist Party of the Philippines, within the Pantaron Mountain Ranges.
According to a post by the 8th Army Battalion, each NPA hideout can accommodate at least 50 members.
The army recovered 1 garand rifle, various notebooks, medicine, subversive documents as well as a handbook entitled “Maikling Kurso sa Lipunan at Rebolusyon sa Pilipinas.”
Brigadier General Edgardo de Leon said that they will continue with their operations to urge rebels to surrender their arms and return to the government’s fold.
